A truly distinctive villa perched high on the hills of Vale da Parra close to Albufeira (5km) with views to the sea.

Villa da Parra is a unique villa that oozes light and sophistication. Interiors are spacious and predominantly white with dashes of bright colour here and there cleverly combined to create a stylish look and feel. Polished marble floors throughout centre around a sunken living area and a feature curved bar zone with its own seating. Dine with a view at the glass table under the feature domed ceiling then step outside through large glass doors to the pool terrace for a dip. There are just three bedrooms in this villa, so guests have a large amount of space between them inside and out. Two bedrooms, (a double and a twin) share a huge Jack and Jill shower room on the ground floor whilst the principal bedroom upstairs has its own shower room of equal proportions.

A large sweeping driveway welcomes you on arrival and the gardens are well manicured both front and rear. There is a sunken barbecue area with built in facilities and even a cascade feature in the kidney shaped saline pool.

Albufeira centre is about 5km and offers all amenities and a variety of excellent restaurants serving deliciously tasty fresh fish and seafood dishes. A long sandy beach borders the town, just one of the many that grace this famous coastline (Praia dos Paradinha 3.5km and Praia do Evaristo at 3.2km are two other notable beaches close by). Birdwatchers and ramblers will enjoy the renowned lake and nature reserve at Salgados Lagoon (6km) which provides an abundance of waterfowl, vegetation and coastal walk-ways while the fascinating 'Sandy City' sand sculpture site (15km) exhibits a different theme each year and is a magical place to visit at dusk when the sculptures are imaginatively illuminated with candles. The beautiful old Algarvean capital of Silves (20km) makes a lovely day trip. With its Moorish castle of red sandstone rising over fertile citrus orchards, the town remains an important cultural centre and the interesting Museo Arqueological houses various Stone and Iron Age artefacts, together with pieces recovered from Roman and Arab settlements. Faro airport is a 45 minute drive.

  • Steps and some unprotected drops in the garden and inside the villa means care is required at all times and the villa does not accept children under 12 years old including infants.
  • Property Licence No. 73723/AL
