About Panxon

Eating Out

There are a number of restaurants, cafes and tapas bars in Panxon, a lot of these can be found along the beachfront and in the harbour area. Most serve typical Galician dishes, tapas, paellas and seafood. During lunchtime, many restaurants offer a menu of the day (Menu del Dia) and this is a light 3 course meal including a drink. The food will most likely be home made and very reasonably priced.

Shopping

In and around Panxon there are a number of places to pick up local produce from independent shops run by the locals from the area. Fruit and vegetables, fishmongers, butchers and bakeries can be found in the towns and villages in the area and shopping in these is a great way to support the local community and be sure to get the freshest produce.

There are two larger supermarkets on the outskirts of Panxon; Froiz and Mercadona. Both of which are well known supermarket brands and offer a wide range of products as well as cheese, meat and fish counters.
