Immerse yourself in Mallorca’s tranquil countryside in the fabulous Son Pou

Vintage Travel is thrilled to have the charming Mallorca farmhouse of Son Pou on our books for 2017.

San Pou

This beautifully renovated farmhouse oozes traditional character, while boasting all the modern delights you’ll need for a comfortable and memorable holiday in the heart of Mallorca’s enviable countryside.

Son Pou has a total of four bedrooms and three bathrooms and can sleep up to eight guests. The property is hidden amongst bucolic utopia between the sought-after town of Pollenca and the pretty sandy bay of the Port de Pollenca, giving guests the best of all worlds – countryside, sand and traditional town life.

The property dates to the late eighteenth century and has been deliberately renovated to include many of the traditional features, much to the delight of guests. Exposed stone walls, chunky wooden beams overhead, intricately patterned tiles underfoot, and studded oak doors, are just several rustic features that ensure Son Pou radiates charm and character.

Tasteful furnishings of subtle shades work well with the eye-catching artwork of the animals, scenery and farm life on Mallorca, all of which craft an ambience of rustic style and allure throughout the whole of Son Pou’s interior. The farmhouse’s exterior is equally as delightful. A covered barbecue house boasts an original bread oven that has been preserved incredibly well. Augmenting the original style of the barbecue house is a stunning collection of antique farming apparatus, including barrels for olive oil, old benches, and the original animal pens in what was once a stable

This quirky feature of the farmhouse is situated to a side of a long, shaded front terrace, where guests can sit, relax, and take in their surroundings in some much-needed shade as the warm Tuscan sun soars overhead during the summer months.

Another focal point of Son Pou’s exterior is its large private pool. Being elevated above ground level this enticing swimming pool makes the most of the views that surround the country home.

This stunning part of the island is home to a network of trails, perfect for walking or cycling and exploring the lush countryside. The beach and all its delights, including water sports, seafront bars and restaurants and golf, are just a ten-minute drive from Son Pou.
