Casa Florencia: A stylish villa set within one of Catalyna’s most enviable locations

Vintage Travel are thrilled to introduce Casa Florencia to our 2016 Catalunya programme. This stylish four bedroom, four bathroom villa is situated in Casa de Campo, an attractive and desirable residential neighbourhood just off the road that leads from the traditional market town of Palafrugell to Begur and is just a ten minute drive from the spectacular Costa Brava coast.

Casa Florencia

This quiet and picturesque neighbourhood has long been a desirable place to stay in this area of the Costa Brava. With its elegant finish, stylish décor and attractive grounds, Casa Florencia, which is owned by a British couple, is certainly in-keeping with the prestige and desirability of this sought-after hamlet.

The villa boasts an open-plan layout on the ground floor. With a large wood burning stove in the corner, smooth terracotta tiles and tasteful furniture and furnishings, the villa blends a traditional Mediterranean style with a contemporary finish, with fabulous results.

The bedrooms are comfortable and brightly decorated. The principal bedroom is located on the first floor and has an en-suite bathroom and a Juliet balcony with great views of the tree-laced countryside that lies adjacent to the house.

Guests can walk through some French doors that lead from the open-plan dining/ living room straight onto Casa Florencia’s covered dining terrace. As well as enjoying a morning coffee, a spot of lunch or a glass of wine in the evening on the villa’s exterior terrace, guests are encouraged to enjoy their tranquil surroundings to the maximum on an elevated outdoor terrace equipped with comfortable outdoor furniture.

Though we have to admit the centrepiece of Casa Florencia’s grounds has to be the private pool, which is conveniently heated for any out of season visits. If you can manage to drag yourself away from this pretty and relaxing villa you won’t be disappointed by what lies on your doorstep.

This part of the Costa Brava is blessed with a number of traditional yet desirable coastal towns, including the characterful horseshoe bay village of Tamariu, the upmarket resort of Llafranc and the attractive fishing village of Calella de Palafrugell.

Fantastic beaches are plentiful in this part of Spain, as are quality bars and restaurants.

Casa Florencia is an extremely smart house set within one of Catalunya’s most enviable destinations. For more information about Casa Florencia and to book to stay at this fabulous Catalan villa, which can sleep up to eight guests, visit the webpage.
