With its characteristic Béarnais architecture, La Maison Thyarre is a lovely five bedroom, three bathroom property sleeping 10 which is situated in the small rural hamlet of Osserain.

The house features ochre and sienna paintwork, flagstone floors and original oak beams and – as well as the private fenced pool – there are children’s swings, an in-built barbecue and large enclosed, walled gardens with fruit trees and lawns.

Taking into account the above saving, the revised cost of a week’s rental – starting 1 August – is now £1495.  Return UK flights and car hire are not included, but can be arranged on request.

The medieval walled town of Sauveterre is just a five-minute drive away, whilst the pretty riverside spa of Salies-de-Béarn, the beaches of the Atlantic coast and the Pyrénées are all within easy reach.  In addition, hill walking, pony trekking, canoeing and white water rafting are all available nearby.
