Villa Carlita

Stay at the beautiful Villa Carlita: A stone’s throw from the stunning hilltop town of Begur

Another fabulous villa recently added to our Catalunya programme is Villa Carlita. This fine country home has two bedrooms and one bathroom, sleeping up to four guests in comfort. Villa Carlita is located on the outskirts of the historical, hilltop town of Begur, on Spain’s stunning pine-dotted coastline of the Coast Brava.

Villa Carlita

Villa Carlita boasts a fantastic location, being just 1.7 kilometres from Begur and just 1.6 kilometres from a renowned local restaurant. This semi-detached property is furnished in a simple and comfortable style that’s characteristic of typical Mediterranean décor. Cool terracotta tiles lie under foot, facing exposed beam ceilings, giving the villa a cosy, rustic ambiance.

Externally, guests can enjoy meandering round Villa Carlita’s well-maintained lawns, laying out their towel under the shade of the trees, after taking a dip in Carlita’s private swimming pool. Open and shaded terraces give guests the option to sit out in the sun and soak up the warm Mediterranean rays or relax in the shade with a good book or a glass of wine.

With a built-in barbecue, cooking and eating outdoors is there for the taking in this idyllic country spot.

Asides visiting the charming hilltop town of Begur and all its historical delights with ease, a day on the beach isn’t far away for those staying a Villa Carlita, as the pretty and unspoilt beaches of Platja Fonda and Aigua Blava are just several kilometres from the house.

The upmarket and highly desirable fishing villages of Tamariu, Llafranc and Calella de Palafrugell are within easy striking distance of property. The three coastal villages are well-known for their exquisite restaurants, vibrant bars and beautiful beaches, interwoven by a quirky coastal walk that winds round the pine-lined shores and coves this part of the Costa Brava is blessed with.

The larger inland town of Palafrugell is just 1.6 kilometres from the villa, a lively traditional Spanish town that’s home to a great market on a Sunday and a number of shops, bars and restaurants.
