Villa Lefki Thea: In the heart of inspiring Cretan countryside

Welcome to Lefki Thea, a fabulous villa recently added to our collection of properties on the island of Crete. This grand and spacious villa enjoys a suburb location, just above the traditional village of Koufos, not far from the city of Chania, which lies along Crete’s northern coast. With two bedrooms and three bathrooms, Lefki Thea can sleep four or five guests.

Villa Lefki Thea

Lefki Thea is a modern and inviting home that is well equipped throughout, with its Wi-Fi, air conditioning, and plenty of other mod-cons, it’s designed to ensure guests have as comfortable stay as possible in the heart of rural Crete.

Two en-suite bedrooms augment the comforting appeal of Lefki Thea, as does the incredible views of the surrounding scenery, which can be enjoyed from most rooms in this fabulous Cretan villa. And with some rooms leading out to terraces and balconies, guests can really take in the incredible vistas Lefki Thea is blessed with.

Lefki Thea’s exterior is equally as captivating. A cute, kidney-shaped pool dominates a corner of a pretty and extremely spacious stone-flagged patio, which gives guests plenty of room to spread out, sunbathe and relax.

The villa’s exterior is edged by an attractive mix of Mediterranean cacti and indigenous shrubs. Beyond this fabulous spot lies a stunning blend of fragrant lemon, orange and avocado groves, scattered among the valleys which stretch towards the impressive Lefk Ori mountain range to the south of Chania in the distance.

The village of Koufos is a short 1 kilometre walk from Lefki Thea. As well as a handful of amenities, including a supermarket, post office, bank and mini market, this traditional Cretan town is home to a taverna, providing simple local dishes. Slightly further afield, 3 kilometres from the house, guests at Lefki Thea can enjoy wining and dining at the Bouganvillia Taverna, which again is popular amongst the locals.

A short 15 minute drive will take you to several great beaches on the Cretan shoreline, where lazy family days on the beach are there for the taking. Just 14 kilometres from Lefki Thea is the ancient city of Chania, a lively hub brimming with characterful seafront restaurants and bars, and a pretty Venetian quarter, crisscrossed by narrow streets, culminated by a fabulous harbour.
