Vintage Travel has the pleasure of announcing Arethusa has been added to our collection of stunning villas on the fabulous island of Kefalonia. Arethusa is a three bedroom, three bathroom villa which can sleep up to six guests. This beautifully-positioned accommodation is situated on the south of the island above a small hamlet known as Ratzakli.

This modern, spacious and airy villa has incredible sea views, framed by a backdrop of olive groves, forestland and sweeping fields. Arethusa’s stylish façade is painted in a pale rose hue, gracefully matching the brightness of the bougainvillea which brings the villa’s exterior to life.

Inside, modern furnishings and fittings contrast to traditional stone walls. Patio doors lead from the open-plan dining and living room onto the outdoor terrace, letting in swathes of Kefalonian sunshine to bathe this cheerful and welcoming room.

Arethusa’s kitchen is modern, practical and well-equipped, with all the mod-cons you will require for convenient holiday cooking!

The en-suite bedrooms are tastefully decorated and possess the same chic and airy style of the rest of the villa. From both the double and twin bedrooms guests can walk through patio doors onto a terrace or balcony and enjoy incredible views of the beautiful countryside that surrounds Arethusa.

And a view this good compels you outside into the pollution-free air and to soak in the serenity of this enviable Kefalonian landscape. An infinity pool is the real focal point of Arethusa’s exterior. The edge of the pool seemingly blends with the azure of the sky and the turquoise of the sea, in what can only be described as a breath taking panoramic vista.

The quiet hamlet of Ratzakli lies just below Arethusa, where guests can enjoy a drink and a bite to eat with the locals at the hamlet’s authentic taverna. Slightly further afield just three and a half kilometres away is the unspoilt fishing village of Katelios. A larger selection of tavernas, restaurants and shops can be found at the bigger town of Skalas, which is just three kilometres from the villa.

A fun day at the beach is on your doorstep at Arethusa as the sun swept beaches of Kaminia and Mounda are just a short distance away. These beautiful beaches cling onto Kefolonia’s rugged and exhilarating coastline and eventually join up with Skala Beach. Skala Beach is wide and vast, made from a mix of sand and pebbles. With safe swimming and bathing, this popular beach is a favourite for families.
